Japanese-style carving in Hakuba

I'm Kyrie, a CASI Level 2 and JSBA Tech 1 certified instructor. Before your lesson, I'll watch a clip of your riding to see what's holding you back. On the day, I film your first and last runs so you can see the difference for yourself. 21,000 people follow my carving breakdowns on Instagram. Now it's your turn.

Who it's for

Never been on a board

Strapping in, standing up, stopping. By the end of day one, you'll be riding a green run on your own.

Stuck on turns

Comfortable with falling leaf, but linking turns still feels scary? We'll find the one thing holding you back and fix it.

Ready to carve

This is what I teach most: edge angle, pressure, and the patience to let the board finish its turn.

How I teach

Feedback before we meet

Send me a clip of your riding when you book. I'll have worked out what's holding you back before we even meet, so we can skip straight to what matters.

Two systems: CASI and JSBA

I'm certified in both the Canadian and Japanese systems. If one way of explaining something doesn't click, I'll try the other, and I'll always tell you why it works.

First run vs. last run

I film your first and last runs from the same spot, and we watch them back on the lift. Afterwards, you'll get written notes on what to work on next.

The right run for you

I've reviewed all six Hakuba resorts on my channel, so I know exactly which runs suit your level.
