Home turf for park riders, with the biggest park in Hakuba.

The medium and large jumps are always busy with strong riders. If you're lucky, you might spot a future Japanese Olympic park rider.
There's a managed off-piste zone too, but it's small and not ideal if you're new to powder. If you mainly want to work on your riding or carving, I'll suggest a resort that suits your level better.
This is my own take from riding here. Conditions change every season and every day, so on the day I'll pick runs to suit the snow and your level.
