Snowboard lessons at Sanosaka

The go-to training ground for carvers: almost all groomed, and never crowded.

Best for
Complete beginners to carving
Where I'd practise carving
The carving run next to lift 6 is the most efficient; the lake-view run by lift 3 is more relaxed.

The slopes are wide with an even pitch, and from the lift you can watch good riders carve the whole way up, then go straight down and try it yourself. Beginners have a magic carpet area to get used to the board.

It's not the place to chase powder, but if your goal is to learn to carve, this is where I'd send you.

This is my own take from riding here. Conditions change every season and every day, so on the day I'll pick runs to suit the snow and your level.
