Snowboard lessons at Norikura
Friendly for beginners and ground tricks, and a good place to start carving or off-piste.
- Best for
- Complete beginners to early carving
- Where I'd practise carving
- The straight green run where lifts 4 and 5 meet, in front of the restaurant.
Norikura shares a lift ticket and connected terrain with Cortina next door. The beginner runs are gentle and easy to pick up, and the groomed runs are good for carving practice.
There isn't much variety in terrain, so if you love features you might find it a bit tame. Up lift 3 there's a wide, open off-piste bowl. It isn't hard, but always go with others and carry a beacon, probe and shovel.
This is my own take from riding here. Conditions change every season and every day, so on the day I'll pick runs to suit the snow and your level.
